7th September 2018 It was a lovely warm dry evening, last Friday night, when a lively group of regular volunteers and Friends of Stonehill Community Garden gathered to celebrate the harvest. People tucked into a wonderful array of dishes made with food harvested from the Garden: - quiches, stuffed marrow, salsa, salads and pickles, homemade bread, fruit pies and puddings washed down by the last few bottle of our own apple juice. Big thanks to everyone who helped us prepare and tidy up the Garden, to those who cooked the food and dressed the tables with beautiful displays of flowers from the Garden. And a special thanks to David Buzby for his wonderful display and talk about Bees and Linda and Geoff for the musical entertainment. But most of all thanks to everyone who came along to celebrate the evening with us.
